Company History

From 1977 until 1980 Bob Nelson worked as Vice President of a large industrial packaging distributor in Phoenix, Arizona. Bob had a desire to buy the company but was consistently put off by the owner. Finally in October of 1980 Bob reached the end of his frustration and resigned.

In November of 1980 Bob and Gloria Nelson, with the help of their family, started Nelson Packaging Supplies out of their two car garage. With an undying commitment to customer service, and the utilization of the Just-In-Time Delivery principals, the company grew by leaps and bounds.

In February of 1987 Bob and Gloria sold Nelson Packaging To a paper company from California. Bob and Gloria's kids had all grown up and moved out so they traded in their Phoenix home for golf clubs and a fifth wheel trailer. For the next couple of years Bob and Gloria toured the country. When they were through traveling they settled in beautiful Sun City, Arizona.

Nelson J.I.T. Packaging Supplies Inc. was started in May of 1994 by Bob and Gloria Nelson and their two sons Jon and Greg. We are located in Phoenix, Arizona.
